Kristi Maxey

Production

An easy-going, Kentucky-born country soul, Kristi moved to South Florida in 2009 with her husband and two daughters to live a more laid-back life by the beach. After raising her children to adulthood, she decided to pursue new hobbies. Being friends with Gladiola and having an interest in production created an opportunity that she could not resist. Starting as a volunteer, and now working in bindery full time, she took a liking to the business of print production. She is fascinated with machine art and the machinery that cuts and slices material into interesting juxtapositions of text, images, and shapes. She is particularly a fan of the blade and the cutter and finds it relaxing to work with. What keeps her here at Sack Lunch is the busy atmosphere, variety of work, and of course, the people. When she isn’t binding, cutting, or relishing her time in the print shop, you can find her in the garden, enjoying dinner with her family, hanging at the beach, or cruising on her boat.
