The Copywriting Process

By Sack Lunch Agency

Imagine your perfect sack lunch: the chips aren’t left on the bottom to be crushed by your Snack Pack; your sandwich isn’t left next to the ice pack to get soggy and squishy; and the bag isn’t wrinkled and torn before you can even open it.

Everything is neatly packaged and in its place.

Your chips are crispy and in-tact. Your pudding comes with a plastic spoon. Your sandwich is nice and fluffy (with the crusts cut off, just how you like it). And the bag is folded once over, with a note from mom stapled on the front: “Enjoy your meal ♥”.

Step 1: Discovering Your Authentic Message

At Sack Lunch Agency, we know that presentation is important. As an agency, we whip up your creative content from scratch and see it through digital design all the way to printing in house. From preparing that personalized strategy to checking (and double checking) that all the correct parts are included and in order, you can count on our copywriting and editing team to make your brand communicate the correct message and make all your clients want a taste.

Step 2: Implementing Our Unique Copywriting Process

The Copywriting process is key to any agency. It’s the step that sees your branding strategy implemented directly into a tangible message befitting of your product or services. If your brand is serious, or your target audience families or adults, you’ll need a sincere tone and thoughtful language to match your brand. On the other hand, a playful tone with a punny message may be more appropriate for an eccentric product. Just like that note from mom, the copy needs to send the right message to the right person.

Step 3: Editing and Proofreading the Final Copy

After we carefully take your order and cook up the perfect dish, we then take the time to inspect the finished product before it leaves the kitchen. This final step is crucial to make sure there are no mistakes, that your copy is correct as ordered. The editor and proofreader are the last eyes on your order before it reaches you – making sure the copy is crisp, that the ingredients are in correct order, and that the final draft is uniquely packaged with your brand’s own personal touch. That’s the basics of the copywriting process.

When the finished product makes its way to your table, everyone will be looking to see what have: your customers will want it, and your competitors will be jealous they didn’t order what you did.
